This page is for extras who have been BOOKED to work with Hylton Casting. Please follow the instructions below that explain all of the details you will need to know while working on a tv/film production with us.  

How do I get my call time, location, wardrobe, and hair/makeup information for filming?

At the top of this page, find the project that you are booked to work on and select the date you have been booked to work. On that page, you will find information on how to get your call time (the time you are to arrive on set,) the details regarding wardrobe you will need to bring, hair and makeup information, and the location of filming. Please note ALL of your information will be updated on this page. Please make sure to read all of the information! Your attendance is very important to the scene.

What do I need to do if I have to cancel my booking?

Please contact us ASAP at our office, 404-963-1105. We ask that you do your best to give us at least 24 hours notice. Please do not send an email to cancel.


Identification Needed for Payment: If you are selected to work as an extra, please bring a valid Government issued ID with proof of age. Please note, to work as an extra you must be legal to work in the US with a working Social Security number. Please visit the link below for additional details:

Extras Payment Information: 
The payroll company for extras is CAPS. As a reminder, at wrap you will receive a carbon copy of your voucher from the Production Assistant. Please make sure that you keep this copy to keep track of payment. You should receive your check 2-5 weeks from the date that you worked. All questions regarding payment should be directed to CAPS at 212-925-1415. They may be reached Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Extras Rules and Guidelines: 
Here are a few guidelines to note while working as an extra on set:
-No photos will be allowed on or near the premises, taken by camera, laptop, cell phone or any other recordable device.
-No autographs may be requested from any of the talent and/or crew.
-Please do not approach any talent while they are working.
-Once you have reached the designated extras holding area, you must remain in the area as instructed until you are escorted to set. Please do not wander the premises unattended.
-Please follow all instructions given by the Set PAs.
-Please come hair and makeup camera ready.
-Please bring the specific wardrobe options you are asked to bring neatly ironed and hanging on hangers.
-Please arrive on time. You should plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your call time and expect up to a 12-18 hour day on set.
-Never double-book yourself on another project. Once you are signed in, you are required to stay until wrapped.
